Why Vitametr

One record for every value
you've ever measured

Everything in one place

Lab sheets, patient portals, home devices — your values end up scattered. Vitametr keeps every measurement in one consistent, long-term record.

Your data stays yours

Everything runs locally in your browser. Zero network requests while you use it — no server, no account, no telemetry.

Encrypted, if you wish

Choose a passphrase and everything is sealed with AES-GCM encryption. The app locks itself after inactivity.

Values with context

Charts show the reference-range band, trend and position against limits. Descriptive, not diagnostic — no interpretations, no advice.

Import & export

Batch entry like a lab result sheet, CSV import with review, full JSON backup and CSV export. Your data is never locked in.

Free & open source

Licensed under MPL 2.0. Inspect the code, suggest improvements, or just use it with confidence.

And in detail

Built for real health records

Runs on your phone, tablet and computer — in any modern browser.

Getting started

Three steps to your health record

1

Launch

Open the app in your browser — it installs itself for offline use. No sign-up, no setup.

2

Record

Add values by hand, as a whole result sheet, or import a file. Ambiguous values go to review first.

3

See the trend

The overview, charts and timeline show how each value develops over months and years.

Important: your data stays in your browser

Vitametr stores your measurements in your browser's local storage. Your data is private and never leaves your device — but that also means you are responsible for backing it up. Use the backup function regularly.

Tip: export a JSON backup after each session and keep copies in more than one place.

Not a medical device

Vitametr records and displays what you measured — it states only data-backed facts such as “above the source's reference range”. It never interprets results, makes a diagnosis, or gives treatment advice. Always discuss your results with your doctor.
